Job Description

TruckingJobsInUSA is actively hiring experienced Reefer drivers for over-the-road (OTR) positions based in Oklahoma. We are a CDL driver recruiting agency placing qualified drivers with vetted, well-established carriers across the United States — and we have immediate openings for drivers domiciled in and around Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

This is a full-time Reefer driving position paying $54,000 - $76,000/year depending on experience, lane, and safety record. Home time: Out 2–3 weeks. We work with multiple client carriers, so once you apply our recruiters match you to the opening that best fits your home-time, pay, and equipment preferences — there is no cost to you, ever.

Pay context for Oklahoma: the statewide CDL-A average is $53,800, and the strongest-paying metros are Oklahoma City (about $58,200), Tulsa (about $56,800), Lawton (about $52,400). Oklahoma sits below the national cost-of-living average (index 86), so pay stretches further here — adjusted for living costs the equivalent is roughly $62,558. Wage trend is currently stable — Oklahoma trucking wages offer excellent purchasing power thanks to the lowest cost of living among oil-producing states. Energy sector hauling and I-35/I-40 corridor freight keep demand steady.

Speed limits for trucks in Oklahoma run 75 mph (same as cars), with 75 mph on rural interstates. Tolls: Oklahoma Turnpike Authority operates multiple toll roads: Turner Turnpike (I-44 Tulsa-OKC), Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44 Tulsa-Joplin), Indian Nation Turnpike, Cimarron Turnpike, and others. PIKEPASS transponder. Truck tolls $3-12 per road.

Fuel tax in Oklahoma is $0.19 per gallon diesel + federal, which matters if you are comparing per-mile offers across state lines. Inspection climate: Moderate. Oklahoma Highway Patrol focuses on I-35, I-40, and oil field traffic in western Oklahoma.

How it works: apply with the quick form below (under 60 seconds, no resume needed), one of our recruiters calls you to confirm your experience and what you're looking for, and we set up interviews with the carriers that match. You choose the offer that's right for you.

We require a minimum of 12 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience for this role. If you have at least one year behind the wheel and a clean record, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A commercial driver's license
  • Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) — no major violations
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screen
  • At least 21 years of age (23+ for some lanes)

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive otr pay ($54,000 - $76,000/year)
  • Weekly settlements / direct deposit
  • Medical, dental & vision options through client carriers
  • Paid orientation and sign-on bonuses on select accounts
  • Late-model, well-maintained equipment
  • Dedicated recruiter — one point of contact, no spam
