OTR Dry Van Driver Jobs in Washington — Now Hiring
TruckingJobsInUSA — Driver Placement
Job Description
TruckingJobsInUSA is actively hiring experienced Dry Van drivers for over-the-road (OTR) positions based in Washington. We are a CDL driver recruiting agency placing qualified drivers with vetted, well-established carriers across the United States — and we have immediate openings for drivers domiciled in and around Seattle, Washington.
This is a full-time Dry Van driving position paying $57,500 - $81,000/year depending on experience, lane, and safety record. Home time: Out 2–3 weeks. We work with multiple client carriers, so once you apply our recruiters match you to the opening that best fits your home-time, pay, and equipment preferences — there is no cost to you, ever.
Pay context for Washington: the statewide CDL-A average is $62,400, and the strongest-paying metros are Seattle (about $68,800), Tacoma (about $65,400), Spokane (about $58,200). Washington runs above the national cost-of-living average (index 115), so the headline number buys less than it does in a cheaper state — adjusted for living costs it works out closer to $54,261. Wage trend is currently rising — Washington trucking wages are rising, driven by Port of Tacoma/Seattle activity, Amazon headquarters logistics, and strong apple and cherry agricultural hauling from the eastern part of the state.
Speed limits for trucks in Washington run 60 mph on some urban interstates, with 70 mph on rural interstates. Tolls: SR-520 Bridge (Seattle), I-405 Express Lanes, SR-167 HOT Lanes, Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Good to Go! transponder. Truck tolls $4-12 depending on facility.
Winter operating requirement: Chain carry required November 1 to April 1. WSDOT issues chain-up requirements on Snoqualmie Pass (I-90), Stevens Pass (US-2), and other mountain passes.
Fuel tax in Washington is $0.494 per gallon diesel + federal (among highest in US), which matters if you are comparing per-mile offers across state lines. Inspection climate: Moderate to high. Washington State Patrol commercial vehicle division focuses on I-5, I-90, and mountain pass corridors.
How it works: apply with the quick form below (under 60 seconds, no resume needed), one of our recruiters calls you to confirm your experience and what you're looking for, and we set up interviews with the carriers that match. You choose the offer that's right for you.
We require a minimum of 12 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience for this role. If you have at least one year behind the wheel and a clean record, we want to talk to you.

- Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

- Competitive otr pay ($57,500 - $81,000/year)
