Job Description

We are hiring tanker drivers to transport liquid and bulk commodities including fuel, chemicals, food-grade liquids, and industrial products. Tanker driving is a specialized skill — liquid surge, proper loading and unloading procedures, and hazmat awareness (for certain loads) set this apart from standard trucking. If you hold a CDL-A with a Tanker (N) endorsement and understand the responsibility that comes with hauling 7,000 to 9,000 gallons of liquid cargo, we have a seat waiting for you.

You will be trained on proper tanker operations including pre-loading inspections, valve and hose connections, pump operations where applicable, and emergency response procedures. Most tanker loads are picked up at refineries, chemical plants, tank farms, or food processing facilities and delivered to gas stations, industrial consumers, or distribution terminals. The work is steady and the pay reflects the specialized nature of the job.

This position runs OTR with routes planned to get you home every 10 to 14 days. You will average $70,000 to $95,000 annually depending on experience and the commodities you haul. Chemical and fuel tanker drivers typically earn more due to the additional endorsement requirements and handling complexity.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A license with Tanker (N) endorsement
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable OTR experience
  • Tanker experience preferred — will train experienced van/flatbed drivers
  • Clean MVR and stable work history
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Ability to handle loading and unloading procedures (valves, hoses, pumps)
  • Comfortable working around refineries, chemical plants, and industrial facilities
  • Must pass DOT drug screen and background check

Benefits

  • Annual earnings: $70,000 - $95,000 depending on experience and commodities
  • Tanker premium pay — significantly above dry van rates
  • Home every 10-14 days
  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company-paid tanker training for qualified candidates
  • Weekly direct deposit
  • Late-model tanker equipment maintained to the highest safety standards
  • 401(k) with company match after 1 year
