Job Description
We are hiring reefer drivers for otr routes in New York, transporting temperature-controlled freight including produce, dairy, frozen foods, meat, and pharmaceuticals in refrigerated trailers. You will monitor reefer unit temps and maintain the cold chain from pickup to delivery.
New York offers strong freight demand driven by consumer goods distribution (nyc metro) and financial services logistics. Major pickup and delivery points include New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, with heavy traffic along I-87 (NYC to Albany, Thruway). Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR experience
- Reefer experience preferred — will train
- Clean MVR — no major violations past 3 years
- Current DOT medical card
- Ability to monitor reefer unit controls
