We are hiring hazmat drivers for otr routes in South Dakota, hauling hazardous materials including fuel, industrial chemicals, and regulated cargo under strict DOT and FMCSA protocols. This is one of the highest-paying positions in trucking.
South Dakota offers strong freight demand driven by agriculture (corn, soybeans, cattle) and tourism supply (mt. rushmore, black hills). Major pickup and delivery points include Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Aberdeen, with heavy traffic along I-90 (east-west through state). Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- TSA background check clearance
- Clean MVR — zero major violations past 5 years
- Current DOT medical card
- Knowledge of DOT hazmat regs (49 CFR 100-185)
