We are hiring hazmat drivers for otr routes in South Carolina, hauling hazardous materials including fuel, industrial chemicals, and regulated cargo under strict DOT and FMCSA protocols. This is one of the highest-paying positions in trucking.
South Carolina offers strong freight demand driven by port logistics (charleston) and automotive manufacturing (bmw, volvo, mercedes-benz vans). Major pickup and delivery points include Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, with heavy traffic along I-85 (Greenville-Spartanburg to Charlotte). Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- TSA background check clearance
- Clean MVR — zero major violations past 5 years
- Current DOT medical card
- Knowledge of DOT hazmat regs (49 CFR 100-185)
