We are hiring hazmat drivers for otr routes in Mississippi, hauling hazardous materials including fuel, industrial chemicals, and regulated cargo under strict DOT and FMCSA protocols. This is one of the highest-paying positions in trucking.
Mississippi offers strong freight demand driven by automotive manufacturing (nissan, toyota) and agriculture (cotton, catfish, poultry). Major pickup and delivery points include Jackson, Gulfport, Hattiesburg, with heavy traffic along I-55 (Jackson to Memphis and New Orleans). Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- TSA background check clearance
- Clean MVR — zero major violations past 5 years
- Current DOT medical card
- Knowledge of DOT hazmat regs (49 CFR 100-185)
