We are hiring hazmat drivers for otr routes in Iowa, hauling hazardous materials including fuel, industrial chemicals, and regulated cargo under strict DOT and FMCSA protocols. This is one of the highest-paying positions in trucking.
Iowa offers strong freight demand driven by agriculture (corn, soybeans, pork) and ethanol production. Major pickup and delivery points include Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, with heavy traffic along I-80 (east-west through Des Moines). Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- TSA background check clearance
- Clean MVR — zero major violations past 5 years
- Current DOT medical card
- Knowledge of DOT hazmat regs (49 CFR 100-185)
