Job Description
We are hiring flatbed drivers for otr routes in Rhode Island, hauling steel, lumber, building materials, machinery, and other open-deck freight. You will tarp, strap, and chain your own loads following FMCSA securement regulations.
Rhode Island offers strong freight demand driven by port operations (providence) and jewelry manufacturing. Major pickup and delivery points include Providence, Warwick, Cranston, with heavy traffic along I-95 (Providence corridor). Whether you are based in Providence or anywhere in RI, we have loads moving through your area.

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Flatbed experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA load securement regs
- Ability to tarp and chain loads in all weather
- Clean MVR
- Current DOT medical card
- Physically capable of handling securement equipment
Benefits
- $66,000 - $97,000 annual pay
- Top flatbed pay rates
- Tarp pay: $50-$75 per tarp on top of mileage
