Job Description
We are hiring flatbed drivers for otr routes in Iowa, hauling steel, lumber, building materials, machinery, and other open-deck freight. You will tarp, strap, and chain your own loads following FMCSA securement regulations.
Iowa offers strong freight demand driven by agriculture (corn, soybeans, pork) and ethanol production. Major pickup and delivery points include Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, with heavy traffic along I-80 (east-west through Des Moines). Whether you are based in Des Moines or anywhere in IA, we have loads moving through your area.

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Flatbed experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA load securement regs
- Ability to tarp and chain loads in all weather
- Clean MVR
- Current DOT medical card
- Physically capable of handling securement equipment

- $54,000 - $79,000 annual pay
- Top flatbed pay rates
- Tarp pay: $50-$75 per tarp on top of mileage
