Job Description
We are hiring flatbed drivers for otr routes in California, hauling steel, lumber, building materials, machinery, and other open-deck freight. You will tarp, strap, and chain your own loads following FMCSA securement regulations.
California offers strong freight demand driven by port drayage & container hauling and agriculture (produce, dairy, wine). Major pickup and delivery points include Los Angeles, Oakland, Fresno, with heavy traffic along I-5 (full state north-south). Whether you are based in Los Angeles or anywhere in CA, we have loads moving through your area.
This is a OTR position covering routes across California and neighboring states. Apply today and start driving in California.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Flatbed experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA load securement regs
- Ability to tarp and chain loads in all weather
- Clean MVR
- Current DOT medical card
- Physically capable of handling securement equipment
Benefits
- $73,000 - $107,000 annual pay
- Top flatbed pay rates
- Tarp pay: $50-$75 per tarp on top of mileage
