OTR Dry Van Driver — Nationwide
TruckingJobsInUSA
Job Description
We are hiring OTR dry van drivers to haul general freight on dedicated and open-board lanes across the lower 48 states. You will be pulling 53-foot enclosed trailers loaded with retail merchandise, packaged foods, household goods, and other non-perishable cargo. Most loads are no-touch — warehouse crews handle loading and unloading while you manage your time, run your pre-trip, and keep rolling.
This is a true over-the-road position. You will run 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week on average, with some weeks pushing above 3,000 depending on freight flow and your availability. Routes are planned to minimize deadhead and keep you loaded. Expect a mix of drop-and-hook and live loads, with the majority being drop-and-hook at major distribution centers.
Dry van is the backbone of American freight and the ideal position for drivers who want steady miles and consistent pay without the physical demands of flatbed or the endorsement requirements of tanker and hazmat. If you have a clean CDL-A and at least one year of verifiable experience, we want to hear from you.
